Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Speax ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and Speax.
2. Service description
Speax is an AI agent platform. You provide a task in natural language; the Service uses large language models (LLMs) from third-party providers — including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and Moonshot Kimi — to plan and execute the task autonomously. Execution may involve running code in an isolated sandbox, browsing the web, creating files, and deploying web artifacts.
The specific LLM used for a given task depends on your subscription tier and the selected model. We reserve the right to change model availability with reasonable notice.
3. Eligibility and accounts
Age
You must be at least 16 years old to use Speax. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm you have parental or guardian consent.
Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
One account per person
You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or suspensions.
4. Credits and subscriptions
What credits are
Credits are the internal unit of compute on Speax. Every LLM call, sandbox execution minute, and tool invocation consumes credits proportional to the underlying cost.
Daily refresh
All tiers receive 360 daily refresh credits, allocated lazily on first login each UTC day. Daily refresh credits do not stack — unused credits from a prior day are forfeited.
Subscription credits
Paid tiers receive monthly credits in addition to the daily refresh (Basic: 5,000; Pro: 10,000; Max: 50,000). Monthly credits roll over for one billing cycle; after that they expire.
Non-refundability
Credits are non-refundable. Once credits are granted — whether via a subscription allocation, daily refresh, or top-up purchase — they cannot be returned for cash. Canceling a subscription ends future billing but does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits. Unused credits expire when your subscription ends or your account is closed.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Annual subscriptions are 20% cheaper. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Price changes
We reserve the right to change prices. We will give you at least 30 days written notice of any price increase before your next billing date.
5. Prohibited uses
You must not use Speax to:
- Generate or distribute illegal content in any jurisdiction.
- Generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that sexualizes minors in any way.
- Create or deploy malware, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious software.
- Conduct targeted harassment, doxxing, or intimidation of individuals.
- Impersonate real people, organizations, or government bodies in misleading ways.
- Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) or harvest contact information for that purpose.
- Conduct large-scale automated scraping of third-party websites in violation of those sites' terms of service.
- Use sandboxes for cryptocurrency mining.
- Deploy phishing pages, scam infrastructure, or fraudulent content.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or billing systems.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Intellectual property
Your inputs
You retain all rights you hold in the content you submit as inputs to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it to provide the Service.
AI outputs
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a broad, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and distribute the outputs generated for you by the Service. You may use outputs for commercial purposes.
Note: most jurisdictions do not recognize copyright in AI-generated content without substantial human authorship. You are responsible for understanding the intellectual property implications in your jurisdiction before relying on AI outputs.
We do not warrant that outputs are free from third-party intellectual property claims. You must independently verify outputs intended for commercial or public use.
Our property
The Speax name, logo, platform code, and documentation are our property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.
7. AI outputs and limitations
AI outputs can be wrong. Large language models can hallucinate — produce plausible-sounding but factually incorrect information. Code generated by the agent may contain bugs, security vulnerabilities, or errors. Research outputs may cite sources incorrectly or miss relevant information.
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs before acting on them, particularly for legal, medical, financial, safety- critical, or high-stakes decisions. Speax is a productivity tool, not a professional advisor.
The training data of our underlying models has a knowledge cutoff date. Outputs may not reflect recent events or developments.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPEAX DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate or complete. Sandbox executions run in isolated environments and we cannot guarantee the results of code execution.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPEAX WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) €100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability for certain types of damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Speax and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) any content you submit to the Service.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time via account settings. Upon closure, your access to the Service ends immediately. We will delete your data per our retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law; for non-payment; or if continued access poses a risk to others. We will attempt to give notice before termination except where doing so would create legal or security risk.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ireland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply in your jurisdiction of residence.
Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith by emailing [email protected].
13. Changes
We may modify these Terms. We will provide at least 14 days advance notice of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using the Service and close your account.
